Benefits Of Hiking

Hiking is a great stress reliever. The air is pure and the environment peaceful.
Studies have shown spending time in forests reduces stress, improves depression, lowers blood pressure and reduces feelings of hostility. The aerosols in evergreen forests act as mild sedatives and improves respiration. The sounds of birdsong and waterways improves mood and alertness.
