Meet 101 year old Naomi Replansky and her wife 95 year old Eva Kollisch. They have survived the Spanish Flu, the Depression, the Holocaust and now Coronavirus.
Last weekend amid the madness in New York, Naomi and Eva were listening to Marian Anderson's album Spirituals on vinyl. Regarding Coronavirus, Naomi stated “Confinement doesn’t bother me, my shaky frame can handle more confinement.”
Naomi is a poet, below is an excerpt from her poem 'Ring Song.'
"When I live from hand to hand
Nude in the marketplace I stand.
When I stand and am not sold
I build a fire against the cold.
When the cold does not destroy
I leap from ambush on my joy. …"
