Look Out For Sea Lions This Summer

Summer is sea lion breeding season and like us they frequent sandy beaches. They are classified as ‘Endangered’ on the IUCN Red List of Ecosystems and require quiet, protected beaches in the Otago and Southland Regions to pup on each summer. Please respect their space when having fun at the beach.
