Orokonui Ecosanctuary
It would be fair to say I have fallen in love with Dunedin NZ. Dunedin offers culture, breathtaking scenery, rare wildlife (including my favourite - the New Zealand sea lion/whakahao) and is the birthplace of SIX60

One place worth visiting is Orokonui Ecosanctuary at the top of Blueskin Road (Rapid No. 600) Waitati.
Orokonui Ecosanctuary is home to kiwi, takahē, tuatara, Otago skinks, kākā, bellbirds and tui. Orokonui Ecosanctuary is 307 hectares and is surrounded by a predator fence.
People can enjoy a peaceful encounter with nature and be within a healthy, self-sustaining ecosystem, free of all introduced mammals.
