2020 I pledge #reuseolution, to wear only recycled and upcycled fashion.

Why does #reuseolution matter?

1) The fashion industry is the second largest contributor to climate change.
2) Over a garments lifetime the raw materials stage is the most damaging to the environment and is extremely energy intensive.
3) Over 65% of materials are made from polyester and are derived from plastic.
4) While cotton is better for the environment than polyester, the fertiliser used emits nitrous oxide - a greenhouse gas.
5) We must all change our relationship with fashion, so the fashion industry can reduce its emissions.
