Progress on Petition

- Forest & Bird are supporters and published my article about New Zealand sea lions in their Magazine Summer Edition. 

- I am speaking with Eugenie Sage MP from the Green Party of Aotearoa New Zealand about restricting vehicles on beaches in The Catlins. 

- I have requested a meeting with Clutha District Council Mayor Brian Cadogan. 

Restricting vehicles on beaches where New Zealand sea lions reside is important because: sea lions are classified as 'Endangered' on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species and are predicted to go extinct within five generations. Vehicles cause sea lions distress, degrade their habitats and can separate cow and pup. Thank you for your support!
