Protect Indigenous Species

Please help me to protect our New Zealand sea lion, by restricting vehicle access on Surat Bay and Cannibal Bay; two beaches in the Otago Region known to be inhabited by the New Zealand sea lion.
Prior to their return in 1994, they were exiled from mainland New Zealand for a minimum of 300 years and are classified as "Endangered" on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species.
I have had the privilege of encountering the New Zealand sea lion on several occasions and they are beautiful mammals, deserving of our protection under the Marine Mammals Protection Act 1978.
