Seaweek 2021

Happy Seaweek! My first memory of connecting with the sea was as a child.. building sandcastles on a Northland NZ beach. There my love for the sea began. 

Since 1992, the New Zealand Association for Environmental Education has promoted and supported education that inspires sustainability within New Zealand/Aotearoa. From school presentations, marine ecosystem field trips, working with citizen scientists, organising community beach cleans and hosting water activities; their hope is to inspire and enable kiwis to take time to connect with the sea/moana.
