Sustainable Coastlines X Litter Intelligence

It was a pleasure meeting Becky, Ben and Pete yesterday at their Sustainable Coastlines X Litter Intelligence Workshop held at the Southland Community Nursery!

Thank you to The Batch Cafe for catering, the food was delicious!

For those of you who are unfamiliar: Sustainable Coastlines are a New Zealand Charitable Organisation that was launched in 2009. Since 2009, Sustainable Coastlines and their volunteers have been cleaning up Aotearoa, Hawaii, Vanuatu, the Cook Islands and Papua New Guinea. Alongside organising nationwide clean ups and riparian planting days, they provide freshwater restoration education. Find out about their upcoming events at https://sustainablecoastlines.org/events/

Their initiative Litter Intelligence collects data, provides insights and inspires action for a litter-free Aotearoa. Did you know New Zealanders are the tenth highest consumers of urban waste per capita in the world? Check out their Action page to read their success stories at https://litterintelligence.org/action/

(One of these days I'll learn not to blink during photos!)
