When In Wanaka

Like me, do you have plans to explore your backyard this summer?
If in Lake Wanaka, I recommend checking out the infamous #thatwanakatree (now sadly missing a limb), the Wanaka Lavender Farm (maximum of $10 per adult), going on a WanaHaka wine tour (mana meets great wine) and getting immersed in the breathtaking scenery.

Roys Peak Track, Mt Iron Track, Blue Pools Track and Diamond Lake and Rocky Mountain Track offers panoramic views. Remember to pack your sunscreen (I use My Sunshine), hiking boots (I wear B Corporation certified Kathmandu), breathable clothing (I wear ethical Zeenya Clothing) and a drink bottle!

Deep Canyon offers the opportunity to jump, climb, abseil and swim Wanaka's canyons. Wanaka River Journeys offer jetboat tours in Wanaka. You can hire paddleboards from Paddle Wanaka and explore at your own pace.

Wanaka offers something for the artist, adventurer, dreamer, mermaid/man and mountaineer. Get out there!
