We are kind of a big deal..

Meet 'Mum,' the only endangered New Zealand sea lion you can pat!
Mum and her pup appeared at Taieri Mouth in Dunedin in 1993. She gave birth to the first pup on mainland New Zealand in over 150 years!
Mum's journey preceded the gradual return of New Zealand sea lions to mainland New Zealand.
