By order of the Dunedin City Council, popular road John Wilson Ocean Drive is currently closed in Dunedin NZ, to ensure safe passage between Chisholm Links Golf Course and the beach for a New Zealand sea lion cow and her pup.

Please encourage the Clutha District Council to take similar action and restrict vehicles on two beaches in The Catlins to protect their New Zealand sea lion residents. Sign at https://www.change.org/ProtectNewZealandSeaLion.
