Sanctuary Mountain Maungatautari

Today I visited Sanctuary Mountain Maungatautari in Karapiro.
Maungatautari Ecological Island Trust was established in 2001 and in 2006 the last of the pest-proof fencing was built.
At 3400 hectares, Sanctuary Mountain Maungatautari is one of the largest havens for endangered species in the world.
