Scotland Protects Seals

Scotland have banned salmon farmers from shooting seals and have restricted the use of acoustic devices to scare them off. In the first three months of 2020, 31 seals were shot under licence. The Marine (Scotland) Act 2010, protects the harbour seal and the grey seal around Scotland’s coast.

Well done Scottish Natural Heritage for protecting your seals, may your legislation set precedent.
The New Zealand sea lion are classified as 'Endangered.' Please sign my petition on Change.org to protect our indigenous New Zealand sea lion - https://www.change.org/ProtectNewZealandSeaLion.
