Summer is here!

Which means:

1) Soaking in sun and surf with whānau and friends. Remember to wear Reef Safe Sunscreen, pack your reusable bottle and drink plenty of fluids.

2) BBQ’s and summer fruits.

3) Pōhutukawa trees in bloom and long evenings.

4) It is New Zealand sea lions breeding season. Remember to walk, opposed to drive on beaches that New Zealand sea lions reside, to avoid distressing and threatening sea lions and their pups. From a safe distance, snap a photo - you have witnessed one of approximately 20 sea lion pups born on mainland New Zealand annually!
