Sun Care Tips Part One

Summer is fast approaching! Due to the ozone hole over New Zealand and Australia, sun rays are especially harsh, therefore sun care is essential!

Most market sunscreens contain harsh chemicals threatening to coral reefs and marine life. Chemicals to avoid are Oxybenzone, Octinoxate, Octocrylene, 4-Methyl-Benzylidene Camphor, Triclosan, Methyl Paraben, Ethyl Paraben, Butyl Paraben, Benzyl Paraben and Phenoxyethanol.

Coming into effect in 2021, Hawaiian Governor David Ige signed a bill banning sunscreens containing chemicals threatening to coral reefs.

Chemical Free / Reef Safe Sunscreens I recommend are Natural Instinct Skincare, My Sunshine, Simple as that skin, Skinnies ‘Conquer’ and INVISIBLE ZINC.
