Between July 2019 to 2020, Taste Nature’s customers diverted 35,595 containers from landfill by choosing to refill them. “This initiative made customers feel they contributed.” Taste Nature’s refillery offers extensive grocery and Ecostore products. “I worked with Ecostore for a year on their return scheme.” Ecostore encourages customers to return their products packaging and is processed at their Auckland plant. “My next goal is to talk to suppliers about their packaging and determine how we can reduce plastic.”
